Welcome to the South India photo gallery. The southern states are often refered to as the real and traditional India, where Hinduism and temples are playing a major role. People are relaxed and overwhelmingly friendly. My first trip included the highlights of Tamil Nadu and the backwaters in Kerala. In my photos I tried to capture the colorful everyday life and some of the magic of India.
