On my first walk through Yangon I stopped by at the Sule Pagoda with it's 46 m high stupa. It is situated in the center of the 'Old City'. I have a chat with a girl who came here with her little brother to pray. She works as telecommunication operator and her English is quite good. Around Sule Pagoda and in the neighboring streets are many shops, restaurants, travel agencies and street vendors. Palm-readers and astrologers can be found in small shops around the pagoda.
